Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI)
The application of UVGI for disinfection has been an accepted practice since the mid-20th century. It has been used in medical sanitation and sterile facilities. It has increasingly been used to sterilize drinking, wastewater and in HVAC systems. And, for many years, UVGI has found renewed applications in air, surface and environmental sanitization.
UV-C sanitizers are a powerful, prudent and proactive adjunct to existing medical cleaning programs.
AERO-UV™ Sanitizer
Ceiling mounted UV-C lights can rapidly sanitize all surfaces and the even the air in any room. And, because there are virtually no disposables, it costs just pennies to thoroughly treat large or small spaces.
The AERO-UV™ sanitizer has been designed to work in conjunction with the wall-mounted, 24/7, BREEZE-UV™ air sanitizer to make for a complete room disinfection system.
Using unique patented UV-C lamps, which have a 12-month service life, and even after a full year, the AERO-UV™ sanitizer has more than 3 times greater output than competitive devices.
BREEZE-UV™ Sanitizer
The BREEZE-UV™ sanitizer was specifically design to use the Upper Room (UR) range to operate 24/7 in healthcare environments where there is continuous occupation. These wall-mounted units have parabolic reflectors and louvers, confining the germicidal irradiation to the UR area above the room occupants head.
Effective air disinfection depends on good vertical air movement between the Upper and Lower Room, normally generated by thermal convection and the natural air flow within the room.
TRANSPORT-UV™ Sanitizer
The rapid TRANSPORT-UV™ sanitizer was designed to quickly disinfect the air and surfaces within all transport vehicles. It is a fixed unit that is securely mounted to the ceiling of a cabin. The TRANSPORT-UV™ sanitizer takes only 10 to 30 minutes to thoroughly sanitize a space and all of the air and surfaces within it.
The TRANSPORT-UV™ sanitizer is available with either a safety wall switch or remote control on/off switch. All lamps are shatterproof. Additionally, they are available to house 1 to 4 UV-C lamps in each unit, as well as in lengths from 18” to 64”. The more lamps installed, the faster treatment can be completed.
TRANSPORT-UV™ Safety Package
It is strongly recommended that those who purchase the TRANSPORT-UV™ surface sanitizers, consider purchasing the ceiling-mounted, 360°, quick turn-off Motion Sensor. This device will prevent staff and others who inadvertently enter a room during UV-C treatment from exposing themselves to UV-C radiation.
In addition, it is strongly advised to add the Wall Switch Timer to set the UV-C lights to automatically go on and off at certain times of the day or night.
